Copperplate paper adhesive labels may encounter the following issues during the printing process:
1. Static electricity issue:
Phenomenon: Static electricity may cause the labels to be difficult to separate, or the paper may not stack neatly on the receiving table.
Solution: Install a static eliminator on the printing machine to neutralize positive and negative static electricity, or spray an appropriate amount of water mist around the printing equipment to remove static electricity. It can also increase the humidity in the printing workshop. These measures can help remove static electricity.
2. Rubbing dirt on the back:
Phenomenon: Ink rubbing against the reverse side of another printing paper.
Solution: A powder coating device can be installed on the printing equipment to prevent smudging between the printing sheets using tiny particles of calcium bicarbonate. At the same time, measures such as accelerating ink drying, reducing paper stacking height, and inserting paper with good ink absorption between sheets can also effectively suppress the phenomenon of smudging.
3. Transparent printing:
Phenomenon: The front imprint can be seen on the back of the adhesive label paper.
Solution: Choose paper with high tightness for printing, or increase the viscosity of ink and reduce printing pressure appropriately.
4. Feimo:
Phenomenon: Small droplets formed by ink splashing into the air during the printing process.
Solution: Increase the humidity in the printing workshop and use printing ink with good conductivity, such as water-based ink.
5. Printing pressure issue:
Phenomenon: The severity of printing pressure and the accuracy of regulation will directly determine the degree of ink color size and depth reproduction in graphic transfer printing and printing dot printing.
Solution: It is necessary to adjust the printing pressure to ensure that each adjacent cylinder of the printing plate, rubber, and embossing cylinder touches and presses each other to achieve a transfer effect, thereby obtaining normal ink transfer.
6. Paper feeding issue:
Phenomenon: Due to the thickness of the paper, it may cause unstable or skewed paper feeding.
Solution: Adjust the parameters of the paper feeding part, such as increasing the gap between the double sheet controller, adjusting the spacing between the paper pressure tongue of the side gauge and the front gauge and the paper feeding board, etc., to ensure smooth paper feeding.
In summary, the problems that may be encountered during the printing process of copperplate paper adhesive labels include static electricity, ink smudging, through printing, ink flying, printing pressure, and paper feeding. To ensure printing quality, corresponding solutions need to be taken for prevention and handling.
