It is not recommended to use copperplate paper adhesive labels in the following scenarios:
1、 Damp or high humidity environment
Copperplate paper itself is not waterproof and is prone to damage due to water absorption. Therefore, in humid or high humidity environments such as bathrooms, swimming pools, etc., it is not recommended to use copperplate paper adhesive labels. These labels may quickly lose their stickiness in these environments, leading to label detachment or damage.
2、 In situations where high wear or scratch resistance is required
Copperplate paper adhesive labels have relatively low wear resistance and are prone to surface printing pattern wear due to friction. Therefore, in situations where high wear or scratch resistance is required, such as outdoor advertising, mechanical component labeling, etc., it is not recommended to use copperplate paper adhesive labels. These labels may quickly lose clarity in these situations, affecting the transmission of information.
3、 Places that require long-term exposure to harsh environments
Copperplate paper adhesive labels have weak durability, are not resistant to high temperatures, and are not resistant to chemical corrosion. Therefore, it is not recommended to use copperplate paper adhesive labels in environments that are exposed to harsh conditions for a long time, such as chemical plants, high-temperature workshops, etc. These labels may rapidly age, deform, or damage in these environments.
4、 In situations where oil or chemical protection is required
Although the waterproof and oil resistant properties of copperplate paper adhesive labels can be enhanced through film coating treatment, the native copperplate paper material itself does not possess these characteristics. Therefore, in situations where direct contact with oils or chemicals is required, such as food processing, chemical experiments, etc., it is also not recommended to use copperplate paper adhesive labels. These labels may quickly become contaminated or corroded in these situations, making the information unrecognizable.
In summary, when selecting label materials, comprehensive consideration should be given to the specific usage environment and requirements. For the scenarios mentioned above, other more suitable label materials can be chosen, such as PET, PVC, and other materials with higher durability and waterproofness.
